There are places that simply host events, and then there are places that become part of a community’s story. At Five Points Music Sanctuary, we’ve always hoped to be the latter.
Over the years, our sanctuary has welcomed thousands of people through its doors. Some come to discover a new favorite artist. Others come to reconnect with old friends, celebrate life’s milestones, support a local nonprofit, or simply spend an evening surrounded by live music. Whatever brings someone here, our hope is that they leave feeling like they’ve found a place where they belong.
That’s what Five Points has always been about.
While live music is at the heart of what we do, our mission reaches far beyond the stage. As a nonprofit organization, every concert, workshop, and community event helps support programs that make music more accessible, more inclusive, and more meaningful for people throughout the Roanoke Valley. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience live music without barriers.
That belief fuels our work in hearing loss advocacy, from promoting safe listening practices and offering free hearing protection to providing hearing screenings in our community. It drives our accessibility initiatives, helping create more welcoming experiences for people of all abilities. It also allows us to support music therapy programs that give children and adults with special needs access to the healing power of music. These initiatives are the reason Five Points exists.
