NYE BREAKDOWN

As 5 Points Music Sanctuary rolls toward the start of our 3rd year pursuing the power of sound, we are wrapping up this year with the 2018 New Year’s Breakdown, featuring THREE jam packed nights of shows, dinner, and all of the magic that comes with events at the Sanctuary. Running 12.29-12.31(NYE), New Year’s Breakdown features Love Canon (12.29), 2 nights of South Hill Banks (12.30/31), the Floorboards, Mad Iguanas and more to be announced.

Sunday and Monday (NYE) will feature headlining act, South Hill Banks for a two night run. Described as “the next generation of bluegrass”, these Floyd Fest and Relix Magazine “On The Rise” winners return to Sanctuary for what will be one of 2018’s most coveted tickets. Night 1 opens with local favorites Mad Iguanas and night 2 kicks off with 5 Points stalwarts, The Floorboards.

There are few places we would rather be than the Sanctuary, basking in the warm glow of friends, family, and incredible music! Dinner service with some of Roanoke’s finest food trucks will be available for each night. Get the best deal by purchasing one of our 3-night “Breakdown Passes” and get limited edition posters, menu specials, and special swag for each show. Individual show tickets are on sale now for Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

We couldn’t be more excited that our first announcement for the 2019 Schedule is the incredible Brandon “Taz” Niederauer on February 23rd! Fifteen-year-old Brandon Niederauer, nicknamed “Taz” for his ferocious guitar playing, is living proof that dreams really do come true. Having performed in some of the most legendary venues in America with many of the most prominent musicians of our time, the young guitarist, singer, and songwriter has already earned himself quite the reputation. From Broadway productions with Andrew Lloyd Webber to mixing it up with immortal musicians like Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, and Dr. John, this young impresario already has a career to rival guitarists 3 times his age. Nail down your tickets in advance for this incredible Sanctuary night!
