$1000 RAISED FOR MAKE-A-WISH

What an amazing and fun night with Isaac Hadden and his many, many talented friends! Isaac played all night long with openers The Jared Stout Band and headlined with Jake Dempsey, Paul Tressel, Matt Leonard, and Robby Carden. Thanks to everyone who worked, played and attended our second installment of 5 Points Music Benefits we were able to raise over $1000 for Make-A-Wish!

Our series continues Wednesday, February 12th when we welcome local songwriting contingent SHE featuring vocalist Brittany Sparks. All proceeds will benefit S.A.R.A Roanoke, the sexual assault crisis center for the Roanoke Valley..

5 POINTS FOUNDATIONAL DINNER

Please don’t miss this opportunity to get a peek behind the banners of 5 Points Music Sanctuary to find out why we are so much more than just a music venue.

The story of 5 Points Music is only 3 years old, yet the legend of our tale is spreading far and wide. Join us as we celebrate where we have been and discover our vision for where we want to go in the coming years. Tickets include a fully catered event, music, and a curated presentation from founder Tyler Godsey along with supporters and those who have been impacted by the work we do.

For this Annual Foundational Dinner, we will auction Artwork, Tickets, and more including the 2019 5 Points Music Autographed Guitar featuring artists who have appeared here throughout the year. Generous 5-course tastings will be provided by both Blue Ridge Catering and River & Rail Restaurant. We’ll have the best in local brews with kegs from Big Lick Brewing Company & Parkway Brewing Company‘s über popular Get Bent.

The event will run from 6-9p Wednesday night. Dress is cocktail attire. This fundraiser will serve as our annual dinner and allow for our supporters to learn more about the work we have been doing beyond our events and discover how they can help us expand on our impact.

You’ll be presented with a personal and visual look at the programs and progress of 5 Points Music Foundation. Meet Noel Anderson of Anderson Music Therapy and families impacted by her programs and hear their stories of the power of sound.

As we gather in the hall, we’ll have a full dinner buffet featuring “Melvin’s Fried Chicken”, mashed potatoes, and collard greens. Melvin Seals & JGB always request River & Rail’s crispy fried chicken when they have a show at The Sanctuary. Blue Ridge Catering will offer Short Ribs, a Wintergreen Salad, and Harissa Roasted Carrots. Our own Chef Ed will be serving up LEGENDARY Honey-Glazed Dinner Biscuits and Cinnamon Roll Biscuit Buns.

On this night we say “Thank You” for the generous support of our partners and friends and, of course, celebrate all of the amazing moments of the year! Cheers to 2020!

Prepare yourself for mind-blowing electronica improv masters EOTO! This stand out, live-only band is sure to flourish immersed in the powerful energy of The Sanctuary and everyone in it. Do not miss this Monday Night show!

A live band on hi-tech hyperdrive, EOTO has forged new territory in the electronic dance music movement. Locked and loaded with computers, loopers, midi controllers, routers, software, mixers, and the latest in music technology, multi-instrumentalist Michael Travis and percussionist/vocalist, Jason Hann have sent a speeding bullet through the electronic dance community due to their innovative 100% improvised approach and as a result, their exclusive sound. Not just a haphazard foray into experimental music, the duo starts their musical adventure from scratch (there are no pre-recorded loops, no backing tracks, and no pre-constructed songs in their live production) building each set, note-by-note, beat by beat, live before the audience as each show explodes into a full-scale dance party.
