We are headed back to Wasena Park in beautiful downtown Roanoke to celebrate All Hallows Eve weekend. Wrapping up a fantastic month of shows this October, we are closing the month with a bang!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30
Friday night, October 30, brings The Darkside Experience to the stage for an immersive and comprehensive Pink Floyd affair, complete with a stellar light and laser show.

Don’t forget to pick up your limited edition poster at the merch tent on Friday night for just $10!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31
Saturday is all about fun! Halloween wouldn’t be complete without jack-o-lanterns, so we will have a PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST (bring your own already-carved pumpkin to enter the competition or carve one in your pod that afternoon/evening).

A sweet 5 Points swag bag of goodies (hint: new merch!) will be awarded to the best carved pumpkin, as judged by The Dead Reckoning and 5 Points staff. The contest winner will be announced at set break on Saturday night.

BONUS ALERT: Each carved pumpkin entered into the contest will receive (1) raffle ticket to possibly win a ‘Power Pod Pass’ for Spring 2021, good for (1) one 4-person VIP pod at one our spring shows. More info on the raffle below.

Saturday night brings The Dead Reckoning back to our 5 Points Outdoors series to celebrate a full moon and Halloween! These guys have been rocking The Grateful Dead in SW VA for 4 years and counting. Dress up and get ready for so many tricks and even more treats on a fun-filled fall night.

Limited edition Dead Reckoning event posters will be for sale ($10) at the merch tent, too, so be sure to stop by there to check out all of our new merch!

And …. a COSTUME CONTEST! (both nights!)
We will have a photo booth set up by the merch tent, so get your best costume game together to get your pic snapped. All costumed guests from both nights who stop by the photo booth for a snapshot will be entered into the contest. We will post all of these visual treats in a special album on Facebook. The top two photos with the most “likes” will each win a ‘Power Pod Pass’ for Spring 2021, good for (1) one 4-person VIP pod at one our spring shows. Voting ends on Facebook at 5:55pm on Sunday, November 1.

 

Did somebody say RAFFLE? Darn tootin’!
On both Friday and Saturday nights, we will be selling raffle tickets at the merch tent. As a good ole throwback to the lot scene, raffle tickets are 1 for $5 *or* 10 for $20. That’s better than a garlic grilled cheese made in somebody’s trunk. One winner each night will be drawn at set break. The winning ticket holder receives (1) one 4-person VIP pod at one our spring shows

 

PLUS! FOOD and DRINKS
We will have Lazy Bulldog Food Truck at Wasena Park on Friday and Saturday nights. They serve up a variety of delicious burgers and other specialties.  There will be plenty of beer, cider, wine, seltzer, and coffee at the 5 Points bar as well as some hot merch to keep you warm on cool fall evenings. Mark your calendar now and get your tickets to join us for an awesome holiday weekend.

The event will be held at Wasena Park just off the Roanoke River Greenway/Blueway, right in the center of Roanoke City. There is plenty of car and bike parking, river access and it’s within walking distance of many Southwest Roanoke neighborhoods.

Guests will purchase roped-off “pods” that are generously spaced from each other. Pod sizes are 10×10′ for 1-4 people and 15×15′ pods for up to 6 people. For larger groups, please contact the box office at info@5pointsmusic.com or (540)795-5618.
