A family based company, Lazy Bulldog Food Truck’s goal is to provide home cooked, original food creations that everyone can enjoy. Every dish blends traditional family recipes with an urban flair for a perfect balance of excitement and flavor. FREEKBASS & THE BUMP ASSEMBLY with Sammi Garett (from Turkuaz)
Beam me up, Sammi! It’s time for more FREEK! BASS! Saturday, March 6 Freekbass, Sammi, Sky, and Rico return to bounce The Sanctuary with the freakiest of the funk!
Virtuoso bass player Freekbass has been hailed by the legendary Bootsy Collins as The new spiritual warrior of the funk. Hailing from Cincinnati, Freekbass and his group, The Bump Assembly, are deeply rooted in funk, cultivated under the guidance of legendary funk masters like Bernie Worrell, George Porter Jr., Dumpstaphunk and Bootsy, just to name a few. Known for his energetic live show and ignited low-end, Freekbass brings danceable tunes with hints of Prince, David Bowie, Talking Heads and P-Funk. A staple on the festival and club touring circuit, his band consists of Rico Lewis on drums, a 13-year veteran of George Clintons Mothership, Sky White from Foxy Shazam on keys and the vocal duties are shared between funk queen Sammi Garett from Turkuaz and the beautiful songstress Reilly Comisar. With a brand new album out in May 2019 under the Color Red label (Denver based New Mastersounds guitarist Eddie Roberts), the excitement for what is next is simply too much to contain. A Freekbass performance is for those who want to move, to groove, and to experience an event where the show and the music are one, creating a powerful visual and sonic experience that is not to be missed.

THE NEW DEAL
With over 1400 legendary late nights, sold-out clubs and triumphant festivals under their belts, The New Deal has returned with a passion in 2019 with ‘TND3’– the third incarnation of the renowned live electronica trio: Jamie Shields (keyboards), Dan Kurtz (bass), and new drummer Davide Di Renzo.
The New Deal first began in Toronto in 1999, quickly gaining support from Toronto’s underground club scene as pioneers in electronica, recreating the DJ experience with live, improvised music. Soon the band brought their interpretation of Electro House, Trance, Breakbeat and Drum & Bass to the US where they were embraced by the crowds at NYC’s Wetlands Preserve and cultivated a loyal following in the American jam scene.
