5 Points Music Launches Subpac Program

Subpacs let you feel the power of sound and supports full access concert experiences for those with hearing loss

5 Points Music Foundation’s mission is to pursue the power of sound in all it’s glory. As such, we aim to explore the ways in which sound is not just heard, but how it’s felt and seen as well. We want to create concert experiences that enable those with hearing loss to explore the power of sound. To this end, we have recently received 3 Subpac Tactile Bass Systems that wirelessly connect to our PA system and “transfers low frequencies directly to your body and provides you with a new physical dimension to the music experience”.

What is a “full access concert experience” for those with hearing loss? It’s bringing together all of the senses we have to experience live events in a comprehensive manner. With a focus on providing incredible acoustics, we work with each of our performers to ensure proper sound levels are maintained.We work with professional lighting engineers to stimulate the mind and create an amazing visual experience. Some of our future shows will feature sign language interpreters to reinforce the visual impact for those with hearing loss. And to feel the power of sound, we offer free use of our Subpacs for those who might benefit from it. In addition, we provide special seating assignments to those who may wish to sit next to the subwoofers.  This is all part of the mission at 5 Points Music and lies at the heart of what makes us who we are.
